Playapod Version 1.4: Let’s go for a Drive!
Playapod Version 1.4 includes new features to make it easier than ever to listen in the car, share and tag your favorite shows, and preview podcasts before you subscribe.
CarPlay and Android Auto
Full support of Android Auto and iOS CarPlay has been added. Display and play your Playapod playlist directly from your car’s built-in dash!
Custom Sharing
Now, when sharing an episode it will use the show’s website link, if available. New share setting has been added that allows you to write a custom message, mention twitter users, or add hashtags. For example, with the “Tech 411” podcast you could add a custom show setting of “#Tech #TechNews @Tech411Show” and it’ll append that to any episode you share from the Tech 411 Show. Let your favorite podcaster know you are listening with Playapod by mentioning them.
Audio Previews
If you are interested in checking out a new podcast but you are not ready to subscribe then you can tap the new preview button next to each episode. We also added descriptions of each episode too. It’s really easy to decide before you subscribe!
Playapod users have been providing suggestions on how to improve the app since it’s introduction in February 2018. The TMSOFT team has used those suggestions to create an app that our users love! Could you add a web player for use with a laptop?

Great app. I’ve been a Podcast Addict user for the last year and feel a couple of key features are missing:
– Time interval to check for new updates (24 hours etc.)
– Set time to check and auto download new episodes
– Skipping to end of an episode with auto delete option should mark it as listened and delete it
